2011 UPDATES
December 31, 2011
How's it hangin', dudes?
All ready for the start of 2012! While many have predicted that 2012 will
be the end of the world (thanks to the ending of the Mayan calendar in that year
. . . how do we know Bill & Ted didn't just go back in time and accidentally
destroy the rest of it, though?) we are hoping that it will somehow be the year
of Bill & Ted! There's no way of knowing at this point whether or not
the third movie will make it into production, but rest assured that if and when
it does we will be here to cover everything about it! So keep thinking
positive thoughts, babes and dudes! To close out this year, we have the
start of a brand new original Look-In!
Magazine comic strip story about Bill & Ted trying obtain new
instruments by playing the ponies . . . and we don't mean Wyld Stallyns!
And our Photo of the Week is another storyboard
from Bogus Journey, this time depicting the overhead shot of Bill and Death
playing Twister! Party On into the New Year, most excellent friends!
December 17, 2011
Seasons Greetings, most
excellent babes and dudes! We're just one week away from Christmas, so we
hope the holiday season finds you feeling most festive! This week we have
yet another original storyboard from Bogus Journey as our Photo of the Week,
this time showing the terrified Bill & Ted as they are about to be murdered
by their evil robot counterparts. Bogus! And we also have the last
installment of the original Look-In!
Magazine comic strip story about Bill & Ted trying to set right the
lives of their schoolmates. Will they succeed? Check it out to find
out! We will be taking a break for the holidays next week, but we shall
return on New Year's Eve with new updates to totally help you ring in the New
Year! Not bad!
December 10, 2011
Greetings, most excellent
friends! As the year winds down we wonder why there has been so little
news about Ed and Chris' work on Bill & Ted 3? While we have no news
to report at this time, we will stay on top of this story as long as there is a
glimmer of hope that a third movie may actually happen! In the meantime,
we have added another original storyboard from Bogus Journey as our Photo of the Week,
this time showing Ted as he is slammed against the wall in Hades. And we
have added the second part of an original Look-In!
Magazine comic strip story in which Bill & Ted learn more about the future
fates of two former classmates at San Dimas High! Catch you next time,
dudes!
December 3, 2011
Whoa!! Where has time
flown, with or without a phone booth? This week we're bringing you the
start of another brand new Look-In!
Magazine comic strip which finds Bill & Ted wondering the future
fates of two classmates at San Dimas High; one a bully and the other a
nerd! And Isabel babe has sent us another one of her outstanding animated
stamps for our Icons Gallery! Non-heinous
indeed!!! And it's that time of year again when the South Coast Repertory
Theatre in Southern California puts on their annual telling of A Christmas
Carol starring Hal Landon, Jr.! And you can read more about that on
our News page! And finally we have a brand new piece of storyboard artwork from Bogus Journey as our Photo of the Week,
this time showing DeNomolos in the classroom of Bill & Ted University with
his henchmen. Party On, dudes!
November 26, 2011
Greetings and salutations,
excellent compadres! Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving and had lots of
excellent food to eat! This week we're bringing you the last of the
Halloween Fans Costume Gallery photos
we've received for this year (at least up until now!) This time around
it's the non-heinous Anthony and Brian showing off their atyical outfits!
Not bad!! And we have another storyboard from Bogus Journey as our Photo of the Week,
this time showing the moment when Bill & Ted first see Station in
Heaven. And finally we have the conclusion of the original comic story from Look-In!
Magazine in which Bill & Ted find a way to deal with naughty Chicago
gangsters! Catch you later, dudes!
November 19, 2011
How's it hangin', most
excellent friends? We're back with more updates, including yet another
outstanding submission for our Fans Costume Gallery!
This time it's Edmundo and Cole partying on as the Two Great Ones! Not
bad! We have also added another storyboard from Bogus Journey as our Photo of the Week,
this time showing another pivotal scene from the Battle of the Bands. And
finally we are continuing with another original comic story from Look-In!
Magazine in which Bill & Ted continue to run afoul of ruthless Chicago
gangsters! No way! Yes way!
November 12, 2011
Greetings, babes and
dudes! If you happen to be in Cincinnati, Ohio this weekend to meet Alex
Winter this weekend, be sure to drop us a line and let us know about your
experience! In the meantime, we have more updates for you this week,
including what may very well be the tiniest Bill & Ted costumers yet, which
you can check out in our Fans Costume Gallery!
And we have the beginning of yet another original comic story from Look-In!
Magazine in which Bill & Ted go back in time to Chicago to try to
score some inexpensive pizza and find themselves tangling with gangsters
instead! And we have another storyboard from Bogus Journey (or
rather Bill & Ted Go to Hell) as our Photo of the Week!
Not bad!
November 5, 2011
Hope everyone had an
outstanding Halloween this year and we're excited to already be seeing your most
creative Bill & Ted costumes this year! As always, we will add one new
costume photo to our Fans Costume Gallery
each week until we've run through them all! This week it's the outstanding
Allen and Persilia as The Two Great Ones, including part of the time-travelling
phone booth! We also have information about Alex's upcoming appearance at
HorrorHound Weekend next week on our News page! Plus a couple of Billy the Kids thrown in for good
measure! Most creative! In the meantime, be sure to check out
the next installment of the original comic story featured in Look-In!
Magazine back in 1992 which took place after Bogus
Journey (and we are still looking for the third and final installment of
this comic strip, if you can help us out!) And then head on over to our Photo of the Week
to see yet another original Bogus Journey storyboard, this time featuring
one artist's concept of part of the worldwide audience Bill & Ted would have
for their final concert! Party On, dudes!
October 29, 2011
It's almost Halloween and we
hope that many of you will be dressing as The Two Great Ones again this
Halloween season! If so, be sure to send us a photo of yourself and your
best mate in your costumes for our Fans Costume
Gallery, just like the outstanding Eric and Brock did, sending us their most
inspired costumes from last Halloween to add to the gallery!! Not bad!! This week we're bringing you a brand new storyboard from
Bogus Journey as our Photo of the Week!
And we have the beginning of an original comic story which takes place after Bogus
Journey featured in Look-In!
Magazine back in 1992 (sadly we don't have the final installment of this
particular story, so if you happen to have a copy of the October 17, 1992 issue
of Look-In! you can share with us, we'd sure appreciate it!) Have fun this
Halloween and Don't Fear the Reaper!
October 22, 2011
Boo, dudes! Halloween is
creeping up closer and closer, but there's still time to get together your own
Bill & Ted Halloween costumes (directions on how to do so can be found here!)
And it may be too late to get tickets to Universal Studios Halloween Horror
Nights to see Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween
Adventure this year, but then you never know! Try anyway if you long
to see a crazy and fun show featuring the Two Great Ones! In the meantime,
we have another storyboard from Bogus Journey for you to enjoy as our Photo of the Week!
And we have yet another original Bill & Ted comic which was featured in Look-In!
Magazine back in 1992, so be sure to scope that out as well! Later,
dudes!!
October 15, 2011
Greetings, most excellent
friends! Are you gearing up for Halloween this year already? Have
your Bill & Ted costumes all worked out? If so, don't forget to snap a
photo of yourself and your Bill or Ted compadre and e-mail
it in to us to include on our Fans Costume
Gallery page (just as the outstanding Jakk and Jenny have done this week . .
. check it out . . . !) We have an excellent new Look-In!
Magazine comic that's completely original and is also quite fitting for this
Halloween season because it features none other than the Grim Reaper dude
himself, Death! And we also have another Bogus Journey storyboard
which features the police station scene in which Ted totally possesses his dad
for our Photo of the Week! And finally we
have heard from our friend Aaron who has sent us some outstanding new artwork to
replace his older artwork (his choice, not ours, I assure you!) on his Fans
Gallery page, plus you can now follow his very own web comic, Keeping Up
with Thursdays, online! Not bad!
October 8, 2011
Whoa! We're back for
another week of updates, excellent friends! This week we have yet another
new Bogus
Journey storyboard as our Photo of the Week,
drawn by David Russell and showing what Bill, Ted and Death might have been
dressed like after they mugged three people in Heaven. And we have the
conclusion of the original Camelot-themed comic story from Look-In!
magazine for you! And don't forget Bill & Ted's
Excellent Halloween Adventure at both Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida
and Universal Studios in Hollywood, California, playing now through the end of
the month. And as we do every year, we invite fans to send in photos of
themselves dressed as Bill & Ted and other characters from the two movies
for our Fans Costume Gallery! Don't know how to dress like Bill &
Ted? Check out our handy guide to making your own Bill
or Ted Costume! Yes way!
October 1, 2011
How's it hangin', babes and
dudes? This week we have our usual updates, including another Bogus
Journey storyboard as our Photo of the Week,
this time showing De Nomolos as he first confronts Rufus in the classroom at
Bill & Ted University. And we have the continuation of the original comic strip from Look-In!
magazine in which Bill & Ted travel back to the time of King Arthur
and Camelot! And don't forget to check out Bill & Ted's
Excellent Halloween Adventure for this year in both Hollywood and Orlando .
. . there's a chance you may still be able to get tickets!
September 24, 2011
Greetings, most excellent
friends! This week we're bringing you another original storyboard from the
production of Bogus Journey, this time depicting Death shopping at the
Builder's Emporium with the Stations, as our Photo of the Week. And we have the start of yet another
original comic strip from Look-In!
magazine in which Bill & Ted travel back in time with the intention
of visiting the Princess Babes but somehow go back too far and end up in England
at the time of Camelot! No way! Yes way!
September 17, 2011
Check it out, dude!
We've totally got all new updates this week, including the last of the omitted
scene pages for Bogus Journey which covers their Final
Speech at the Battle of the Bands. Plus we have another rare
storyboard from Bogus Journey as our Photo of the Week.
And we're also bringing you the final installment of the original comic strip story from Look-In!
magazine in which Bill & Ted go back in time and accidentally break
up the
world's most famous band, The Boodles! Will they be able to get the lads
back together again and save the future of music as we know it? Plus we've
now re-opened our Convenience Store and we found we
only needed to raise the price on one item, the Swicherz Collectible Phone Booth
(to help defray the high shipping costs it takes to mail them!) Not
bad! And
finally if you haven't made your reservations yet for this year's outstanding
Halloween Horror Nights venture to see Bill & Ted's
Excellent Halloween Adventure, then what are you waiting for? The only
truly scary thing would be missing out on seeing this awesome show! Party
On, Dudes!
September 3, 2011
How's it hangin', dudes?
This week we have the next installment of the Bogus Journey omitted
scenes section in which we outline the Final
Fight at the Battle of the Bands as it was originally supposed to play out
in the film, including existing clips and storyboard recreations!
Whoa! And we have another original storyboard from Bogus Journey as
our Photo of the Week. And the continuation
of the original comic strip story from Look-In!
magazine in which Bill & Ted go back in time to meet the
world's most famous band, The Boodles! And finally it's that time of year
again . . . time to make plans to visit Universal Studios in either Orlando,
Florida, or Hollywood, California, where both parks will be including Bill &
Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure in their Halloween
Horror Nights event! Yes way!!! We will be taking a break from
updating next week but will return on September 17 with more excellent stuff!
August 27, 2011
Station, babes and
dudes! This week we have a monumental omitted scene outline to share with
you in the slowly-forming Bogus Journey section, and that is the famous Facing
Their Fears scene! We have compiled a lot of information about this
missing scene, including a rather lengthy storyboard recreation embedded on the
page, so be sure to check it out! We have also added yet another original
storyboard from the film as our Photo of the Week.
And we also have the start of another original comic story from Look-In!
magazine in which Bill & Ted go back in time to enlist aid from the
world's most famous band, The Boodles! Not bad!
August 20, 2011
Whoa!!! Welcome back,
babes and dudes, for another week of updates! This week we have more Script
Variations from Bogus Journey! These are the closest variations
to the finished film which contained the scenes that were eventually omitted
from the final film! Not bad! We also have another original
storyboard from the film as our Photo of the Week.
And we have another original comic from Look-In!
magazine which ran just one week and entailed Bill having nightmares
about kissing his Granny S. Preston, Esq. No way!!!
August 13, 2011
Get down with your bad selves,
everyone! We're back with even more excellent stuff about Bogus
Journey! This week we're adding a new page in the Omitted Scenes
section for the sequence in which Evil Robot
Bill & Ted bag the Princess Babes from the Logan household, which
included several moments that didn't make it to the finished film. This
includes yet another video storyboard sequence re-enacting the missing
bits! Not bad! We also have yet another original storyboard from the
sequel as our Photo of the Week. And we
have the conclusion of the original old west comic story published in Look-In!
magazine back in 1992! And when you're done with all that, most
definitely check out this animated film by Toonsmyth we just found, Dr. Who's
Excellent Adventure, which you can find linked on our News
page! Check back with us next week for more Bogus
Journey script variations, babes and dudes!
August 6, 2011
Station, most excellent
friends! Welcome back! We have some non-non-non-heinous updates for
you this week, so let's begin. First we have another set of Script
Variations from Bogus Journey which are most interesting and you'll
definitely want to read through those! And we've added another storyboard
from the film as our Photo of the Week as a
continuation of our year-long recognition of the movie's 20th anniversary.
Then we have the continuation of Look-In!
magazine's original comic strip story which follows Bill & Ted back to
the old west in search of a costume for a party. And finally we have the
next issue of our original Scoping it Out newsletter, or rather the first issue
of the one and only Scooping it Up
newsletter which was produced by the most egregious De Nomolos himself!
Bogus!!!
July 30, 2011
How do you know this website
is really this website? Well, while you're pondering that bit of
existential contemplation, we will proceed with this week's updates that include
a brand new page of omitted scenes from Bogus Journey, this time covering
the Evil Robots trashing Bill & Ted's
apartment! This includes another compilation of storyboards exclusive
to our site, so be sure to check it out! We have also added another
storyboard from the film as our Photo of the Week.
And we have begun another original Look-In!
magazine's comic strip which follows Bill & Ted as they travel back to
the old west in search of costumes for a fancy dress party (okay, we know these
were written and drawn in England, but it's still hard to imagine Bill & Ted
talking about going to a fancy dress party!) Also we have learned from
actor Jim Cody Williams that fellow B&T actor Duncan
McLeod passed away in 2005. Jim shares from very kind words about
working with Duncan on his biography page. Thank you very much, Jim, for
all your help! Party On, dudes!
July 23, 2011
Greetings, most excellent
friends! If you didn't catch our special Tuesday updates this week, have a
look at the July 19th updates for the special items we posted on the 20th
anniversary of Bogus Journey! Our celebration of Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey's 20th
Anniversary continues with a brand new storyboard from the movie as our Photo of the Week.
We also have added the first set of Script
Variations for you to peruse. This early draft varies in many ways
from the final film, so it's a most interesting read! We have also added
the conclusion of Look-In!
magazine's comic strip version of the the
Incan rain dance portion of A Most Excellent Roman Holiday. We have
also now re-opened our Convenience Store and have
decided to keep our low low prices for now in honor of Bogus Journey's 20th
Anniversary! Not bad!!! See you
next week with even more outstanding stuff, babes and dudes!
July 19, 2011
Totally excellent Bogus
Journey 20th Anniversary, babes and dudes!!! It seems totally fitting
to celebrate this milestone anniversary as we eagerly anticipate news about the
third Bill & Ted movie currently in the writing stage! We're making
this a year-long celebration by bringing you the new Bogus Journey
section of the site piece by piece (as we complete each section, we'll be
posting it here and then compiling it all together with complete menus when it's
closer to being done!) So to start, this week we're posting a special
video we've posted to our YouTube Channel which covers Ten Things You May Not
Know About Bogus Journey! And then we have also posted
the much-anticipated (and WAY overdue) first page of the Omitted Scenes,
covering the Demon Guard and Rat scene with
many examples of how this scene was supposed to have originally played out,
including photos, videos, storyboards and excerpts from the novelization!
There will be much more to come starting this Saturday when we'll be back with
our regular updates! Not bad!
July 16, 2011
Greetings, compadres!
Are you ready to get bogus? Or rather, let us rephrase that . . . are you
ready to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Bogus Journey? It happens on
June 19th and we will be updating the site on that date with all-new materials
on the sequel for you to enjoy, kicking off a year-long celebration of the
movie! And to get started, we're already beginning our special year-long Photo of the Week
storyboard extravaganza of original storyboards from the production of the
film, many of which have not been seen by the public or fans before! No
way! Yes way! And the outstanding Isabel has sent us another
animated Icon to share with everyone which is
most excellent indeed! Thanks, Isabel babe! We are also bringing you the next Look-In!
magazine's comic strip issue. Did you wonder what happened to the
Incan rain dance portion of A Most Excellent Roman Holiday which ran
previously? Well, they took that out and made it into its own story for
this and the following issue! We've also embedded Dweezil Zappa's somewhat
half-hearted coverage of the Bogus Journey Air Guitar Competition for Beach
MTV which ran in July 1991. We'll see you back here on Tuesday, babes
and dudes!
July 2, 2011
Welcome back, most excellent
friends! We are pleased to bring you more excellent stuff this week,
including our exclusive interview with the outstanding limited-edition Bogus
Journey poster creator, Matt Tobin! He
is one excellent dude who has done some incredible B&T related artwork in
the past you're gonna want to check out! We also have a brand new Photo of the Week
which shows another one of the t-shirt designs for the animated kids' shirts
released in 1990. And we have the final segment of Look-In!
magazine's comic
adaptation of A Most Excellent Roman Holiday (which varies quite a bit
from the original storyline) plus an article and photos page which also appeared
in that issue to promote the UK release of Bogus Journey on videotape
(remember those??) We have embedded William Sadler's segments from the
Beach MTV week of promotions for Bogus Journey in July 1991.
And Julia babe has reworked her fan fiction, now known as May I Introduce
to You, Captain & Mrs. Logan which
we've added to the Stories section. We
will be taking a break next week, but fear not (the Reaper!) . . . we will
return on July 16th all ready to rev up for the twentieth anniversary of Bogus
Journey when we'll be bringing you some most excellent stuff in our
year-long celebration! Also note that our Convenience Store will be closed
until our return as well. Party On!
June 25, 2011
Dudes, we were most aggrieved
to learn this week of the passing of Clarence Clemons, who played the center
Most Excellent Person in the Universe in the original movie, Excellent
Adventure. We have paid a small tribute to him on our News
page this week. As for the rest of our updates, we have a brand new Photo of the Week
which shows Edison, Bach and the other historical figures in the time-traveling
phone booth from the beginning of Bogus Journey. And we have the
beginning of the Look-In! magazine comic
adaptation of A Most Excellent Roman Holiday which we've added to the
Comics section. Plus we've embedded the brief interview with Alex and
Keanu from the set of Bogus Journey which was shown before an MTV airing of the
movie under the title Attack of the
Killer Beach Movie to our Interviews section! Excellent!
June 18, 2011
Whoa! We have returned
with yet another week of updates! This week we have a brand new Photo of the Week
which shows Socrates as he tries to make his escape across the ice rink of the
San Dimas Mall from Excellent Adventure. Then we have a brand new,
original Look-In! magazine comic strip which
was a one-week story written specifically for the magazine! We have also
added a News report about a most incredible poster for Bogus
Journey designed by the outstanding Matt Tobin which you can now order for
yourself! Whoa! And we have
also embedded an interesting interview with Keanu from KABC
News in 1991 in which he talks about Point Break and Bogus Journey
and then makes a rather flippant comment when asked if there would ever be a
third Bill & Ted movie! No way! (Well, keep in mind when you
watch this that he'd been sitting through countless junkets for both movies and
had probably been asked the same thing a million times already!) And
finally we are added an interview with Alex and Keanu from an episode of HBO
World Entertainment Report in 1991 about Bogus Journey to our YouTube
Channel! Not bad!
June 11, 2011
Greetings, most excellent
friends! This week we're bringing you a brand new Photo of the Week
which shows Bill & Ted with their wives and sons onstage at the end of Bogus
Journey. We are also posting the last part of the original Look-In!
magazine comic strip which finds Bill & Ted back in prehistoric times
dealing with some dinosaurs! And we have added Keanu's interview alongside
Patrick Swayze for Point Break which ran on the Japanese program, One
on One, back in 1991 to our Interviews section. Not bad!
June 4, 2011
How's it hangin', most
excellent friends? This week we are happy to be bringing you a brand new Photo of the Week
which shows Beethoven being bagged in Excellent Adventure! And
then we have the start of an original Look-In!
magazine comic strip which find Bill & Ted tracking down dinosaur
prints! We have embedded a 1991 interview with Peter
Hewitt to our Articles section. We've also added a brand new Animated
Icon designed by the outstanding Isabel, whom we thank most
gratefully! We also want to give a plug to Joey dude and his Facebook
efforts to gauge the interest in having a statue of Bill & Ted placed in San
Dimas! Check it out, like it, and offer your support if you want to see
this worthwhile monument to the Two Great Ones become a reality! And finally, if you haven't checked
out the 1991
Beach MTV Air Guitar Competition clips we added to our YouTube
Channel, then
definitely do so now! Not bad!
May 21, 2011
Scope it out, babes and
dudes! First of all this week we have to tell you to click on over to the News
page for a link to some candid behind-the-scenes photos Alex Winter provided to
the website Ain't It Cool News from Excellent Adventure! Most
outstanding! And as for us, we have many excellent additions to the site this week, including a
brand new Photo of the Week
of Ted's Dad! Plus we have the final segment of Look-In!
magazine's adaptation of Excellent Adventures in Babysitting
taken from the DIC series of cartoons. And we have added Issue
#3 of the original Bill & Ted Fan Club newsletter, Scoping it Out, to
our Newsletters section! And finally we have embedded all of the segments

Sadler's 1991 interviews from Beach MTV to our YouTube
Channel! Not
bad!!

April 30, 2011
How's it hangin', dudes?
We're back with another week of updates, including a brand new (and rather
strange) Photo of the Week which shows either
Bill or Ted's room, but we're not sure which! And we've added the
conclusion of the Look-In! comics unique
story where Bill & Ted meet Robin Hood. We're also added Alex's April
1991 interview on A.M. Los Angeles,
as well as Keanu's July 1991 interview on CBS
This Morning, to our Articles and Interviews section! Not bad!
And finally Creativedude wasn't content with just his Ted costume . . . he's now
building his own time traveling phone booth and he's sharing the experience with
us as well, which you can totally check out on his Fans
Gallery Page! Whoa!!!
April 23, 2011
Greetings, most excellent
friends! We hope this time of the year doesn't cause you undo anxiety from
bad memories of a nasty little bunny rabbit taunting you in Hades or
anything! If you do find the bright pastel colors of the holiday
disturbing, you can ease your troubled mind by checking out the new Fans
Gallery Page from Katie babe, who created a most outstanding Peeps-themed
Bill & Ted diorama she and her friends have now shared with us. Not
bad!! We have also added a new Photo of the
Week from the dramatic Battle of the Bands confrontation in Bogus
Journey. And we have added Alex's 1991 interview on Night
After Night, as well as Keanu's 1991 interview on U.K. The

short 1989 clip from MTV's The Big Picture about Excellent Adventure
to our YouTube Channel. And during this reflective time of the year, let
us leave you with one thought . . . don't steal your brother's Easter
basket. It totally isn't worth eternal damnation, dude!
April 16, 2011

April 9, 2011
How's it hangin', babes and
dudes? This week we have some very excellent updates for you! Of
course there has been much buzz about there being a third Bill & Ted movie
in the works! Because there continues to be new
information about the potential for a third Bill & Ted film we have set up a
special third movie page with a history of how the rumors have become more and
more believable over the past nine months, as well as the latest comments from Keanu
about possible plot points, and you can find that linked on our News

most outstanding new Fans Gallery Page by
Creativedude who has shared his story about creating Ted's costume from
Excellent Adventure both in our Forums and now on our website! Not
bad! We also have a brand new Photo of the
Week of Ted from the Battle of the Bands climax, as well as a clip of

This Week from July 21, 1991 to our Interviews section. And
finally we have added the introduction to MTV's Spring Break Movie from 1998

And then we have the *second* first issue of the original Bill & Ted Fan

can now read! That sounds confusing, doesn't it? Totally! We
have also added a link to another interview from our YouTube Channel, and this
one is the A.M. Los Angeles interview for Bogus
Journey. And finally we've added the next series of Look-In! Comics to
that section which continues with the adaptation of the animated episode When the Going Get Tough Bill and Ted are

February 19, 2011

February 12, 2011
Welcome back, most excellent
friends! Now, before you start asking any deep questions about history or
anything let me forewarn that I don't know, I just work here! Having
gotten that off my chest, let's delve into this week's updates, shall we?
First we have added the next batch of Look-In!
Comics from the week of February 8, 1992. And we have embedded Alex
and Keanu's Bogus Journey junket interview from VH-1
Flix to our Interviews section. Plus we've added another new article
from the Orange County Register dated
July 26, 1991, in which the paper's local teen panel offered up their reviews of
Bogus Journey (some more positive than others!) And we have a brand
new Photo of the Week which is a candid photo of
Alex, Keanu and Robert V. Barron on the set of Excellent Adventure from
Robert V. Barron's former official website (no longer active.) Not bad!
February 5, 2011
Greetings, my excellent
friends! This week we have even more excellent updates for you, including
the embedded addition of the very interesting on-the-set report from the April
1991 episode of MTV's The Big Picture
in which they talk to Alex and Keanu while they are working on Bogus Journey.
Because they were filming during the making of the movie, the clip includes some
lines and scenes which didn't make it into the final cut of the film, including
part of the dudes' original speech before the worldwide television
cameras! And the pop culture website Icon vs. Icon has posted a totally
amazing interview with Alex Winter, and you can learn more about that on our News
page! We have also added the next issue of Look-In
Comics which rounds up the adaptation of the DIC episode The Totally
Gross Anatomy of a Gym Teacher. We've also added one of the Pro Set
trading cards as our Photo of the Week, as well
as a most non-heinous review of Bogus Journey from The
Orange County Register to our Articles section (this dude really understands
the point of Bill & Ted!) And don't forget to sign up for our Facebook
group, where we share even more news about Keanu, Alex and everything
related to the Bill & Ted phenomenon! Party On, Dudes!
January 29, 2011
Welcome back, dudes and
dudettes! We are happy to bring you another week of fun updates, including
the next batch of Look-In!
comics from 1992! We also received some totally outstanding fan
artwork from Austin dude on our Facebook group which we have now added to his
own Fans Gallery Page! Excellent!
Plus we have added a new Photo of the Week which
gives an interesting view of the skewed pink room created as Ted's house in his
own personal Hell in Bogus Journey! And we are beginning to add a
new feature to our Articles section in which we are also posting Interviews,
starting with a link to the Excellent
Adventure promo film posted to our
YouTube Channel. Eventually we hope to have all of our YouTube videos
indexed on the site so you can find your favorite clips more easily! And
we have now added the Entertainment Tonight interview with William Sadler
which has previously run on our website to our YouTube Channel as well!
Not bad! See you next week, most excellent compadres!

How's it hangin', dudes?
As promised we are back with all new updates this week, the first of what we
hope will be many fun updates this year, so let's get right to it! First
we have added some great new fan art, first by Jennifer
who sent in a really outstanding photo she did of Bill & Ted for her new
Fans Gallery Page! And the talented Zeldaartist
has sent in two more very excellent drawings she did of the cartoon Bill for her
Gallery Page! Speaking of creativity, the bodacious Joe sent us a really
cool picture of himself and his friend Matt dressed as Bill & Ted last
Halloween for our Fans Costumes Page . . .
but check this out . . . they dressed as the future Bill & Ted as
they rocked out in the final concert in the Battle of the Bands! How
non-heinous is that?? You may have noticed that we've added a new page to
the website entitled Newsletters. Here
we will be posting the original newsletters which were published by Bill &
Ted's Outstanding Past and Future Appreciation Society in the 1990's, starting
with the sample first issue, which has now been posted! If you're going to
be in the Chicago area around February 2nd, you might want to catch the A.V.
Club Chicago's special screening of Death Wish 3 with Alex Winter appearing in
person to talk about the movie. Learn more about the event on our News
page! We have added a
new Photo of the Week which is an article from
one of the Look-In magazines from 1992. And starting this week we are
going to start posting one issue of the Look-In!
comics with every update until all the comic strips have been posted.
Not bad! We hope you are enjoying the new layout of the website!
Remember if you have any comments, suggestions or find any broken links, do let
us know via e-mail! We
love hearing from you! Party On, Dudes!
January 16, 2011
Greetings, most excellent
friends! It is time! Yes, time we finally finished our major website
design overhaul (it's hard to believe this site has grown to over five
hundred separate pages!) We hope you will like the look of our new
site! Our main goal was to become frames-free and to hopefully make the
site much easier to navigate. We also wanted to clean house and pare down
unnecessary files which have built up over the past ten years. Not much
has changed content-wise with this new look, although you will find we have
separated out certain sections (such as the merchandise section) to make it
easier to find what you may be looking for. We will now begin updating the
site as usual every Saturday, starting with this coming January 22nd! With
each new update we hope to add even more materials than before, as well as
improving some of the photos already posted! Not bad!!
One thing we must point out is
the fact that many URLs and photo links have now been changed, so if you have
bookmarks for certain pages they may no longer work. All of the content
which is existed on the site before is still here, it just may have moved, so
check the menu above or the Site Map to find what you
want. We're here to help, so let us know if you find any broken links or
corrections in formatting which need to be made! Also, let
us know what you think of the new look overall! We'd love your input
and feedback!
Over the next week we'll be
tweaking features, double-checking links and making sure everything is running
smoothly. But we'll be back Saturday with all new updates! Most
outstanding! Thanks to everyone for being so patient with us while we
worked on this massive overhaul!
